Sebastien Tobler is an award winning Director and Writer based in Los Angeles, California whose films have competed in major film competitions worldwide.

Coming from a multi-cultural upbringing—Sebastien was born in Switzerland to a Swiss father and a Filipino mother, and grew up in Southeast Asia before going to college in Europe and eventually moving to Los Angeles. His experiences growing up around the world play heavily in his work with characters who continually question and explore their heritage and identities.

Sebastien first started producing travel films for the Travel Channel before branching off into music videos and narrative films. His last film, ANAMNESIS is a proof of concept for feature consideration starring Fernanda Romero, Rane Jameson and Illeana Douglas. It has won Best Sci-Fi Short, Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Production Design awards in various film festivals.

Currently, Sebastien is in development for two feature films taking him back to his cultural roots in Switzerland and the Philippines.
